The first and third Saturday of each month, it is possible to visit Mercatale (short chain market of Saint Rocco in Pilli and Sovicelle). Moreover, thematic lunches and dinners are organized at the Bottega di Stigliano (Rosia-Siena) with products made by local producers.
Additionally, there are areas and rooms open to all, plus free WiFi
Bed linens and towels are changed once a week, if not differently asked by guests. There is extrensive recycling, compost (mulch) production, and zero use of aerosol spray products (for example deodorants, waterproofing substances) for any kind of activity.

Leccetro is a farmhouse and a farming business with 18 hectares of woods, located 400 mt above sea level within the natural reserve of Tocchi.  Amongst all the activities carried out by the owner, Francesco De Leo, expert beekeeper, there is the production of honey produced with just one kind of flower, pollen and royal jelly all made with organic methods.

Guests and travelers staying at Leccetro farmhouse have the opportunity to directly see the production of these products. Surrounded by holm oak and chestnut trees, the farm house has been built from an old barn-stable: the old external structure was not modified while the internal parts have been completely restored by keeping intact the history of the area with specific reference to the materials used and the furnishings. The house plays out over two stories connected by an internal staircase; on the first floor there is a living room, kitchen with fireplace, a double room and a bathroom. On the second floor are two more bedrooms with bathrooms.
For the guests interested in only to a section of the farmhouse it is possible to lock an internal door and obtaining a smaller space, with two rooms and four beds (Millefiori) or just one room with two beds (Corbezzolo).
The entrance of the apartment faces the garden and does not have architectural barriers and therefore meets the needs of families with children or people with disabilities. The garden is completely fenced in and therefore perfect for pets. Guests can take advantage of the meadow that surrounds the house to eat outside on the wooden table and chairs hand made by the owners, and relax in the shade of old trees or cool off in the solar shower in the garden.

The San Galgano abbey, Petrilo spa, Barso Merse natural park, Monteriggioni, Val d’Orcia and Montalcino are all near by.

Montalcino and Siena are the typical towns that must be seen. For those interested in the seaside, not too far off are Grosseto, Castiglion della Pescaia and Follonica. Monte Amiata is easy to reach for day trip.
