The B&B Grotta nel Parco is located in Mormanno (CS), a village of medieval landscape located in 840 mt on the sea level, in the heart of the Pollino National Park.
Due to its unique geographical location, the B&B La Grotta nel Parco offers guided excursions to discover the nature trails of the National Parks of Calabria (Pollino and Sila) as well as guided tours of the medieval village of Mormanno.
The proposals for sport lovers can be integrated with caving activities, canyoning, canyoning, rafting, climbing and climbing routes.

The B&B is placed on the third floor of a renovated building, owned by the family that manage it: has an indipendent, warm and welcoming area, decorated in Country style.
The living area consists of a kitchen - breakfast room with panoramic views of the hills and the countries of the Park.
In the breakfast room it is served buffet breakfast with typical products of the Calabrian cuisine.
The sleeping area has two large and bright rooms: a double and a triple, both with heating service, one with private internal service.
The town of Mormanno rises between the ridges of Mount Vernita and Costa, 840 meters of the sea level, in the heart of the Pollino National Park, the largest protected area of the new institution in Italy.
The landscape that it is possible to admire from the country is very broad; the climate is renowned: its proximity to the sea ensures mild temperatures in winter and cool in summer, it is a great starting point for exploring the Pollino, the Velatro mountains, Cerviero and Palanuda.
Five kilometers away from the village of Norman it is possible to visit the remains of the Colloreto convent (founded in 1545), the village of Laino Castello, whose town is characterized by old houses and the remains of the medieval city walls.
Moreover, it is possible to visit Laino Borgo, located at the border between Calabria and Basilicata and immersed in an area of woods and rivers. Moreover, in the surrounding area, it is possible to admire thick forests of chestnut trees, firs, maples and oaks, underbrush rich and full of streams, where it is possible to pick excellent mushrooms, black truffles, chestnuts, berries.
