In the countryside surrounding the farmhouse are produced vegetables, fruits and oil.
The goal of the Forziati family is to produce biological products based on the regional program (Reg. 2078/92) for compatible agriculture, with specific reference to the environment. It requires on the spot check, it regulates and fights with a method in phytopathology minimum quantities required.
There are farm animals.
Customers have access to mountain bikes.


The Farm “La Gabbianella e il Gatto “was converted from an old farmhouse with a barn. The property has an area of about eight hectares, five of which are for the olive grove, two arable and the remaining are orchards and vegetable crops.
In the building there are 4 autonomous studios and flats, equipped with toilets (including two for disabled), a living room (with kitchenette, sofa bed, refrigerator, TV) and double bed on the wooden loft, furnished in order to make the rooms cozy and comfortable.
The stable area contains the kitchen and the dining room.
The rooms have heating and air conditioning.
Outside, there is space for Agricamping, which has six areas equipped with electricity, water, toilets and showers (separated by gender), sink and washing machine usage. There is also a sewage disposal.
There is an area dedicated to children.
There is the opportunity to do playful and sport activities: 700 meters away are tennis courts and a soccer pitch, three kilometers away are a riding and diving school at the port of San Marco.

The service includes breakfast, with jams produced by fruit grown on the farm, traditional cakes and handmade biscuits.
For catering (upon reservation only) traditional dishes are served with products from the local area or from Cilento Park, based on the tradition of the Cilento cooking.

The "La Gabbianella e il Gatto" is situated in the countryside of San Marco of Castellabate, an ancient town in the Park of Cilento (origins about 1100 BCE).
The municipal area, due to its unique architecture, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, but is also the headquarters of the Marine Park, in whose waters Homer told the tale of when Ulysses encountered the Sirens.
There is the opportunity to do playful and sports activities nearby: 700 meters away there are tennis courts and a soccer field; three kilometers away there is a horseback riding and a diving school at the port of San Marco.
Other historic towns to visit nearby are Agropoli and Paestum.

Rates in high season (August 1st to 25th and Easter holidays):
• € 40.00 per person, including accommodation with breakfast.
The average season rate (from May to July 15th and from August 26th to September 30):
• € 30.00 per person, including accommodation with breakfast.
Note: If the stay is longer than 5 nights, the rate is reduced to 25,00 euro per person.
Rates in low season (October 1st to April 30th , Easter holidays excluded):
• € 25.00 per person, including accommodation with breakfast.
Kitchen:use of the kitchen at an additional cost of 5.00 euro per day.
Camping:
12,00 euro for one day for parking and 8.00 euro per person.
Free admission for children under the age of 2 years old.
Half price for children from 3 to 12 years old.
Free admission for all pets.
