Antica Tenuta is a Farmhouse in Abruzzo, on the border with Lazio, in an enchanting scenery between the high Appennino’s peaks and the pedemontani’s slopes, at 420 meters above sea level, the ideal setting for a holiday in contact with intact and protected nature.
The structure’s olive grove is cultivated according to organic farming dictates.
The pristine area is far away from industrial settlements, and is the center of 4 natural parks, the ideal starting place for walking or biking along the paths marked by the CAI.
It is a place to live in contact with nature and meet wild animals.
For guests it is possible to taste typical local products such as extra virgin olive oil, truffles, cheeses, honey, sausages.
June and July allow tourists to relax after dinner surrounded by fireflies, in August and September guests can pick blackberries, and in September and October can pick hazelnuts.


The heart of this Antica Tenuta Farmhouse is a cottage from the early twentieth century, out of the city center, in a unique historical building with a large courtyard (100 sqm), with rooms for the hospitality and the agricultural tools.
The house is immersed in an olive grove of about 5 hectares, surrounding the rural block and allows quiet moments in the sun and scenic walks for any levels of difficulty.
The olive grove planted in 1997 according to the most modern criteria of olive growing, is handle according to organic farming dictates.
Surrounded by meadows and olive trees, Antica Tenuta Farmhouse has been renovated in 1998 in full respect of its original style and consists of two independent apartments with every comfort (dishes, stove, fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bedding, towels) and free Wi-Fi.
The rural House has a large car park, tables, chairs and parasols for each apartment, barbecue, children's games, adult bicycles and table tennis; the vast yard is available to guests for pleasant barbecues.

The company is a real "terrace" where guests can enjoy a 360° landscape, and is located in a favourable position for those who wish to explore the wonders of Zompo and Schioppo’s Natural Park, the Canistro’s oligo-mineral waters spa, the Sponga’s Sources or the ancient villages.
In Balsorano guests will find:
- The Piccolomini’s Castle of Balsorano Vecchio
- The XIII century fountain
- The Monte Sant'Angelo’s Sanctuary (XIII century).
- The S. Maria delle Grazie’s ruined church (XII sec.).
Tourists who love sports will find a riding school, tennis courts and a lake with fishing 2 km from the structure; at 15 km there are launch point for paragliding. The Cinema is at 10 km.
The Avezzano’s CAI section and that of Valle Roveto organizes splendid walks to discovery nearby mountains.
Guests who love motorbike will be able to visiting the valley and its surroundings with picturesque walks along the "Borbonica"’s highway or for municipal roads that run through the valley. There are also many excursions to suit every type of cyclist or bike.
