Chioggia is from its very beginning, the headquarters and first base of Rendez-Vous Fantasia, a picturesque town located on the extreme south of the Venetian lagoon.
The centrality of this suggestive aquatic city in the framework of the navigable Po valley and Veneto’ s courses, makes this city the best departure port for the most beautiful itineraries during all seasons.
The headquarters is located in a panoramic site, strategically equidistant from Chioggia (strategic point) and Sottomarina (seaside area).
Since 2004, Rendez-Vous Fantasia has had at its disposal a support base in Marano Lagunare (Udine), a rich town located in the middle of the Grado and Marano lagoons.
It is a wonderful community, ideally already twinned with Chioggia for its flourishing fishing business; the perfect departure point and arrival site, also for people interested in doing a “one way” cruise.

There are many nearby attractions connected to the chosen itinerary:
- the Veneto Lagoon: oasis lipu of Caroman, island/village of Pellestrina, murazzi of Serenissima and the beach. Venezia, Murano, Burano, Torcello, San Francesco del Deserto, all small islands, the casoni, the velme and fishing valleys. The Mose, the huge hydraulic work under construction to protect Venice from rising tides.
- Estuary of the Po River: a naturalistic itinerary in the national park of the Po River
- Ship canal Ferrarese, a loop from Chioggia to Chioggia that goes through the various branches of the Po river, which travels through small towns and country areas to reach Ferrara, the walled city of Casa d’Este.
- Brenta canal a romantic itinerary on the river known throughout the world for the beauty of its Palledian villas that reflect themselves in the water along its verdant banks. Padua, the City of the Saint, with its Scrovegni chapel and frescos by Giotto.
- Sile river the healthiest of the river springs, with its natural park
- The coastal Veneta, one of the oldest water ways, created by the “Serenissima” during its maximum splendor to navigate protected waters from Chioggia to Grado/Mofalcone. From the fishermen's huts to the palaces of the Grand Canal, from the wide river estuaries of the Veneto to the green landscapes cut from reeds, beaches and countryside.
Rendez-Vous Fantasia’ s boats can navigate along the ocean coasts.
