Mrs. Perla is very careful to use water and electricity sparingly, without throwing away dangerous waste, she uses correct waste management.
According to different seasons, customers can receive free products produced in the vegetable garden, by picking and tasting.
Thanks to recycling and compost realized with the support of customers, the vegetable garden will always have a fertile ground and it will always produce good crops.
The opportunity to do open air sport contributes to your well-being.
The costumers can enjoy themselves by using mountain bikes offered by the Residence. The guests can enjoy themselves by training in a golf course or using equipment while they watch the sunset.
Finally, everyone can discover the territory and its own culinary products.
The Residence supplies a folder, for each customer, with local guides and suggestions for any organized tour.
The Girasoli Residence’s owners, upon request, can contact qualified guides and sport organizations and can also give you information on where you can buy the best typical products and taste the best cheap cooking.
For each guest with the Slow Tourism passport, the Residence will apply a 10% discount. It is possible to receive this sale during the low season, except for holidays, for a minimum two-night stay and reserve directly at the residence.

The Girasoli Residence is situated in San Marcello, a Camerino suburb. It is at 670 meters above the sea level. It is completely surrounded by green uncontaminated nature, mountains and rural areas. It represents the best place to relax.
The Residence is managed by Mrs. Perla Santacchi and her family, it is composed of two stone buildings that host five flats with different dimensions and each of them has been renovated with all the comforts.
Each flat can host from 2 to 4 people and is decorated with style.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has its own lunchroom and fireplace.
There are queen-size or double beds, all bathrooms have hydro-massage showers and a hair-drier.
Each flat has a television, washing machine and central heating.
The green areas surrounding the Residence give you areas to sunbathe, relax or read under the shade of the trees.
It is possible for all needs to be accommodated by cooking and eating fruit produced in the vegetable garden thanks to a grill area, or ride mountain bikes and training in a golf ourse and using equipment.
All the common areas and some flats have free a wi-fi connection.
The area who surrounds Girasoli Residence has its own charm and it gives a wide variety of landscapes and different cultures. Maybe it is unknown touristic location still.
The area is situated between the rolling hills of The Marches and the magnificent elevations of Monti Sibillini, from small villages to town rich in theaters and museums.
Camerino ducal town is situated in the middle of this landscape, and thanks to short distances by car, it is possible to reach many typical locations characterized by the same beauty.
The ambiance which surrounds the Residence is a pleasure for all ages; it is possible to take easy, pleasant walks.
For example, Montelago and Mont’Igno, the mountains in front of Camerino are easy to reach and they allow different types of walks and hikes.
By reaching Monti Sibillini it is possible to do demanding excursions on Monte Vettore, or Lake Pilato, the Sibilla Mountains, the Gole dell’Infernaccio (famous cliff) and Pizzo Tre Vescovi and many more.
A wonderful place that can be reached by car, for example, is the high plains of Castelluccio, an area in which time and space have a special atmosphere.
The guests can visit other places to relax, such as Lake Fiastra, where they can go swimming, sunbathing or enjoy themselves in adventure parks.
If you change direction by following the interior roads, you can reach the Colfiorito high plains, Assisi and Perugia.
Instead, if you go to the north of the region, in 30 only minutes, you can arrive at Della Gola, Della Rossa and Frasassi, three different regional parks. Especially in this last one you can visit its caverns, among the most important caves in Europe.
By going to the sea, in one hour, you can reach the coast and visit the Loreto Sanctuary or the magnificent Conero Rivera that offers boat and park excursions.
If you prefer a cultural trip do not worry, Camerino is a beautiful city, surrounded by amazing medieval villages, castles and parishes such as Pievebovigliana, Visso, Castelsantangelo sul Nera, Rocca Varano, Pievefavera, Caldarola and the Pallotta castles, Tolentino, Serravalle di Chienti, Gagliole, Sanseverino, Fabriano, and many more.
There is architecture and artistic charm, from the Gentile da Fabriano school and the fifteenth century pictorial school typical of Camerino to eighteenth century theaters.

- Green flat, first level, for two people, 40 square meters. One night is: €80. One week: low season is €395, high season is €440. It is composed of one queen-size or double room, one kitchen equipped with a dining area and living room where there is a fireplace. The bath has a hair-drier. This room is advised, especially during the autumn and winter season, for everyone wants to enjoy a fire, by eating roast chestnuts and admiring the landscape.
- Green flat, ground floor for two people only, and 40 square meters.
One night is: €90. One week: low season is €440, high season is €495.
It is composed of one queen-size bed, one bath and a kitchen equipped with a typical furnished dining area and living room.
The bath has a hair-drier and hydro-massage shower. It is good during the summer season, because it has a reserved zone with table and beach umbrella. It is advised for those with difficulty going up or down stairs, as it is situated on the ground floor, by making the entrance and exit easier.
- Red flat, for 4 people only, 70 square meters. One night is: €130. One week is: low season €600, high season €660. It is situated on the first level and is composed of a queen-size bed, one double room (with twin beds), a bathroom and a kitchen equipped with a dining area and living room where there is a fireplace. The bathroom has a hair-drier and a hydro-massage shower. The furnishing has its own typical style. There is a free wi-fi connection. It is advised for families in any season.
- Rose flat, for 3 people only, 60 square meters.
One night is: €110. One week: low season €540, high season €625. It is situated on the first level and it is composed of a queen-size bed, a single room, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, with living room and dining area where there is a fireplace. The bath has a hair-drier and a hydro-massage shower. The furnishing has its own typical style. It is advised for families in any season. Unlike other flats, it is not possible to separate the queen-size bed.
- Blue flat, for 4 people only, 90 square meters.
One night is: €140. One week is: low season €700, high season €790. It is situated on the ground floor and it is the biggest flat of the Residence. It is good during the summer season, because it has its own reserved terrace with a table and a beach umbrella. It hosts 4 people only, but the kitchen is sufficiently big to host at least 8 people.
It is advised for families and small groups that are staying in different flats to sleep but stay together during lunch or dinner time. It is ideal for older people or couples because it is on the ground floor, it has two bathrooms that allow for privacy. The flat is composed of two queen-size beds or doubles, two bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with living room where there is a fireplace. The bathroom has a hair-drier. The furnishing has its own typical style. There is a free wi-fi connection.
The prices are reported for each flat. They include towels and bedding, kitchen equipment, water, electricity, heating and a once-a-week flat cleaning, dumpster, recycling, and any other service offered by the building. The price can be subjected to variations, based on the stay duration.
